Nurse & Co. is a boutique, concierge-style home care practice serving Durham Region, Ontario. We provide warm, dependable, non-medical support in the home — senior companion care, mother's helper services and family concierge support — arranged around each family's real routine instead of a rigid agency schedule.

Every plan looks a little different. For an older adult, support might mean company over tea, a shared meal, a grocery run, an accompanied medical appointment, or a few hours of respite for a spouse who has been carrying the load alone. For a new mother, it can mean postpartum support, postpartum doula care, overnight night nurse support, help with an older sibling, and light housekeeping so she can rest and recover. For a busy household, it is meal planning, home organization and the everyday errands that quietly pile up. Everything we offer is non-medical: we do not perform nursing procedures, administer medication, or provide personal care such as bathing and dressing.

Nurse & Co. was founded by Licinia, a Registered Nurse and mother of three boys, who built the practice around the standard of care she would want for her own family — someone dependable, compassionate and trustworthy to count on when life gets busy. Her nursing background shapes the way every visit is approached: compassion, safety, respect, and attention to each person's individual needs. Licinia and her small team care for families across Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville, Port Perry and Clarington.

Getting started is simple. We begin with a free, no-pressure consultation to understand what your family needs, then build a schedule that fits. Daytime support starts at $30–$35 per hour, overnight support is quoted separately, and customized packages are always available.
